Changing Hands, Stitching Stories
Gabrielle spotted two old picket fences in Indiana on a road trip. She saw them as examples of everyday borders & neighbors in our lives. While she stitched upcycled textiles and embroidery thread into collages, she thought of how many hands had touched the fabric and their owner’s stories.
